Biography

Ave is a researcher in the Fiscal Institute of Tilburg University where she currently finalises her PhD on conflicting areas of tax planning, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility (CSR). In recent years, she has been actively involved in discussions related to corporate taxation, business ethics and transparency. She was a Head of Delegation at the OECD Global Forum on Responsible Business Conduct.

In addition to this, Ave has expertise in public governance sector as an inspector/advisor at the Netherlands’ Ministry of Finance. She worked also in legal practice as an associate in a law firm in Finland and Estonia. Next to that, she has been an active member of the European largest law students’ association (ELSA) and Editor-in-Chief of Tilburg Law Review.
